Help me my pc wont let me do anything :/
Hi, basically my laptop wont let me do anything. It wont connect to an internet connection, it does t recognise any USB, services wont work, system restore doesnt work, alot of settings doesnt work, most things i click on, a message pops up saying "The specified service does not exist as an installed service. Basically the only thing i can do is go through pictures and other files. I cant even create a new user or anything. Please help xX

Hi to everyone! Long time hasn't been here. I have just purchassed new Laptop / Samsung 17" NP350V5C-S09AU-Intel® Core i7 8GB Memory_1TB HDD 3.4GHz, WINDOW 8 / and for my surprise it's working very slow, even have not installed any program. Take ages to boot, and when tried to run anything have to waiting long time. My old Toshiba with W7 is 10 times faster. Please, what's the problem? I paid 1K for it.

Pst corrupt
guys, i have a pst file on a windows server 2003, this morning it gave issues connecting. when i checked it i realised that the size was 64 kb, run a scanpst and it became 254kb but still there is no information in it. how can i restore or repair it. please help

Set preferred IPv4 address
I have a Windows 7 Pro machine and have two assigned IP addresses. One is the local IP address, set as a static, reserved on DHCP server, and needed for authentication to accesses certain network programs. This is the one I need to be the primary. However, I needed to add a second IP address, a 10.x.x.x which connects to another server to allow access to a remote program. The problem is, after adding this 2nd address, I cannot log in to MS Lync (which is not the program requiring the 10.x.x.x address). Running the ipconfig command reveals the 10.x.x.x is the primary IP address, with the 192.168.x.x address being listed secondarily. As soon as I delete off the 10.x.x.x address, MS Lync works again (by works I mean it logs in, otherwise it won't).

Windows doesn't get past loading screen
I think my computer has a virus; when I turn it on it has the options to start on normal, safe mode, safe with networking, or last known good configuration, etc. But no matter which option I try, when it gets to the loading screen, the loading doesn't stop, it never gets to the desktop.
Do you know of any website where I can download a repair or recovery or formatting disk from another computer? Or if anybody knows any other way to fix this I'd really appreciate your help.
It's a laptop Panasonic "CF-52 personal computer" with windows vista.

I have Winodows 7 and 8 in dual boot. I wish to get rid of Windows 8. What should i do ?.
I am aware that there are many tutorials available online. But I trust more on members of this forum. Please suggest a reliable link or steps to remove Windows 8 without harming existing Windows 7.

Mirroring a system across network
Hey guys,
Got a load of computers at work and I want to neaten the system up a bit. I'm completely oblivious to this area :P
Basically I have 9 machines and I want them to all be slaves of 1 machine which in turn will not allow people to save to them (Only to external hard drives) and every day if there is an update on the master machine it will bootup at midnight do the changes and turn back off.
I don't know what the name of this is. What the system is. Where to start etc.

Computer turns on, but monitor (Screen) doesnt?
Hey guys! im new here, and generally good with computers, etc. I have been having this problem for a while now, and cannot seem to solve the problem. When i turn on the pc, everything runs perfectly fine, except my monitor does not turn on. It stays black. If anyone can give me any resoultions, i would really appreciate. Its a windows vista!
