Does anyone have an idea of how I can create a service to start a program after boot without a user logging into the PC? I am trying to deploy on both win7 and win7 X86 systems.

Maybe you can help on a WindowsLiveMail (WLM) problem - ??

I put my category name in to the "to" or "cc" box - and then find that
only a few - sometimes none - of the contacts in the category are are actually on the
eMail "to" or"cc" list - as checked in the OutBox or as actually sent (as seen in "sent items").
.
I go to "contacts" - click on the category - and
see the COMKPLETE CORRECT list of names that I had included in it.
.
I do an edit on the list - and -
the box at the bottom -
which should show all the contacts contained in the list -
is EMPTY or has only 1 or 2 contacts listed.
.
I finally DownLoaded the WLM program from MS - and reinstalled it.
I set up my categories again -
and everything worked fine -
for two days.
.
Then - the Categories went FLAKY AGAIN -
contacts not transferred to the eMail to be sent - and -
the box at the bottom of the "edit a category" window is empty - even though
the entire list appears when I just click on the name of the category.
.
??????? Please - I am frustrated - as I use the categories a LOT !!
Can this be "fixed" ??

No Hard drive detected
Hi All
Just wondering if you can pls help with a problem with my PC.
I have Windows XP and I turned on my computer this morning and receieved the following messages:
Load in ASUS Express Gate
P50 Motherboard
Reboot - Select Proper Boot Device
However when I reboot I get the same message.
I have been pressing F8 to get to the safe mode but it does not go to that screen, I can however get to the BIOS Setup Utility which says SATA 1-5 "Not Detected" and SATA 6 DVD/CD ROM Drive.
I hope this makes sense to someone out there who can help me please??

I have good internet connection but I can't browse
Hi, I have a problem with my browser. Well, this morning it actually worked fine, I was able to surf online shops but a moment later when I tried opening my yahoo mail, it says that webpage is not available. So I tried opening youtube and other sites, same thing happened. I check my internet connection but it works fine. Signal is great and my torrents are still downloading. My skype is even on. I've been trying to figure this out for 3 hours but I don't exactly know what to do since I don't have much ideas when it comes to technical stuff. Hope someone could help me. I use google chrome btw. I tried opening IE and same thing happens. My IE is very slowww so I don't usually use it.

Microsoft Lync Question
I'm having trouble signing in to MS Lync 2010 client. I have two laptops and need to have the same user credentials log into both, but never simultaneously. One of the laptops logs in flawlessly; the other attempts to log in and just says "Contacting server and signing in" forever. Both laptops are signing in from the same network switch in our building, same network; and both laptops are the same make / model running Windows 7 Pro. I can't understand what the problem is! I have tried copying two certicates over from the working laptop (one in Credentials Manager and the other in certmgr) but this makes no difference. I have also uninstalled the Lync client, removed the "Communicator" folder, and removed two registry entires related to Lync; then reinstalled, and no different. The Microsoft Lync remote connection analyzer test is a success. Any help?

D: drive automatically filling up
hey i'm using windows 7..since last 2 days my D: drive has been filling up space itself..i deleted some files and created 2GB free space..but again that space is automatically filled up..my D: drive has total 90GB allocated to it..but all the files stored in it make only 87GB..so i'm confused about where the 3GB space has vanished because it shows only 4KB free space..please help

Windows wont update
My computer wont run Windows Update. When I try and run it it says:
Windows could not search for new updates

I tried to go to the Microsoft website for help but then it says I am currently not connected to the internet but I clearly am. Also, IE is frozen so Im using Chrome. I run scans via Norton and it says Im fine. Please help!

win 8 apps terminate after a while
Hi there,
I'm using windows 8, I was able to use all apps and enjoying them
but unfortunately now, they will not open
I click on the app's tile in start menu, it tries to open but after seeing the loading, suddenly it terminates and start menu comes up.
I googled and found solutions like resolution changing, uninstalling programs and changing user acount settings and it won't work for me
what should I do :(

windows 7 professional
Purchased Windows 7 Professional online in 2009 to be sent to my friend in Las Vegas. The box was lost and replaced for a new one in 2010. I installed, activated and registered it and everything worked. In 2011, my HP crashed and I replaced it with an Apple Mac and purchased the Parallel Desktop and reinstalled the Windows 7, and activated it. It worked perfectly for six months and two days ago, the screen went black and at the bottom of the screen it said that my windows 7 is not genuine and that my activation code is not correct. Both my CD's (32 & 64) have the marking "genuine" on them, the activation code is the one on the back of the box and I have confirmation of my payment for the software.
I sent three e-mails to Microsoft, including order No. payment confirmation and shipping address, but they were ignored. I called and had the phone slammed in my ears. I need urgent help in order to continue my work. P L E A S E!!!!

PLEASE-Need a little Help--Running very slow

No internet access but windows says i do have
HI
Where i live the landlord has uncapped internet and said i could use it (as part of my rental) i connected a wifi usb adapter to my desktop machine. i loaded the wifi dongle drivers, then i connected to the wifi network. i tested it with my phone and it works. windows says i am connected to the network, i can ping google.com or any website for that matter, I have tried several sites. i can ping the router, but when i open ie9, or mozilla, or opera, it says im not connected. in ie i clicked on the "diagnose connection" button and it says there is no issue, it reloads the page and tells me im still not connected. i have no proxies, i removed all networking applications such as open vpn, yourfreedom etc and still no network access. Does anyone know what i can do? the wifi network itself is working (as per my phone being able to connect with the network carrier off and only using wifi)
i have done a tracrt google.com and it is successful, i have done a nslookup and it finds the router (billion) connected. in the networks tree i can see the home pc thats connected to the network and mine. so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Recently, each time I am closing down WinXP I get this: Ending Peogram TryBarAPPAV". Does anyone know of this application/program? I tried googling it and it only shows responses in spanish which I cannot read or understand. Of late my pc (WinXP) has become very slow and the commit charge in Task Manager goes sky high. I would appreciate any and all help re TryBarAppAV. Could it be a virus?

need help with very nasty virus,
ok so the OS is windows 7 and here is whats happening.
he caught it once and we were able to remove it but we cant do it by the same means this time,
anyways heres what its doing..
Taskmanager is dissabled.
Desktop is gone,
no start bar,
NO SAFE MODE
everytime we try to go into safe mode as soon as we log in it restarts. so safe mode is out of the question.
a white screen pops up for 2 secounds in normal mode. and if you hit the power button to shut it off u can see all the stuff running in the background like AVG and HITMAN saying its infected then restarts.

Win auto update issue, 7-64
My issue: For whatever reason I now have 15 updates that won't update. It goes through the process and when rebooting it says "Failure" and goes through the reverting process, then boots to Win 7-64. Later from the Taskbar it will tell me I have 15 downloads and will want to start the reboot process. At that point it hangs at 35%, reboots and the same issue coming up. I've run Malwarebytes, and Norton has not come up with any problems. Thoughts on this appreciated.

Internet browser keeps starting up by itself, and constantly refreshing
Hi,my internet browser keeps turning on by itself randomly. I did alot of virus checks and still no luck. It seems to be a deeply rooted virus. I changed the default browser, but it doesn't matter, internet browser just keeps turning on at random times, and sometimes, several times.

Routing the VPN through one Ethernet card!
Hi guys,
Actually I have a VPS, The operating system of my VPS is Windows Server 2008 R2. The VPS has three static IP adress that and two Network Cards(Ethernet Card), Two static IP set for one of the Network card and another one set on the another Network Card. All of the two Network Cards has Internet Access through a gateway.
What I want to do is that, establish a VPN connection(SSTP) with another server in another area(In another country) and after that the users can connect to my VPS and surf on the internet, through the VPN connection from my VPS to another server! The important thing is that in my area most of the VPN protocols(type) are blocked and just SSTP work properly!
I don't know that I explain my idea exactly or not, But I hope I did that!
What I think is that I should establish the VPN connection through one of the Network Cards and the user can connect to my VPS through another card! But the problem is that I don't know how to do that!
And actually another problem is that, when I establish the VPN connection, I lost the remote connection to VPS server! I think it is because of the changed IP! Because after establishing the VPN connection, I can't ping any of my three static IPs!
Please help me to fix this issue.
